Dispensationalism is a controversial doctrine. Teachers that teach that doctrine include John Nelson Darby, C.I. Scofield and Peter S. Ruckman. It considers Biblical history as divided by God into dispensations, defined periods or ages to which God has allotted distinctive administrative principles. According to dispensational theology, each age of God's plan is thus administered in a certain way, and humanity is held responsible as a steward during that time. Dispensationalists demonstrate the harmony of history as focusing on the glory of God and put God at its center - as opposed to a central focus on man and humanity's need for salvation A dispensational perspective of scripture is evident in some early Jewish circles, as seen in the Dead Sea Scrolls like the Community Rule (1QS).
Two dispensational teachers I really like are Robert Breaker and Gene Kim.
