Reverence: biblical meditation and 20 verses about it

Meditation usually stands for mystic religious occult hinduistic practices telling you to empty yourself. If you empty yourself, guess who's coming in...?

Just to avoid confusion: a born again Christian cannot get demon posessed. We are sealed with the Holy Spirit (Ephesians 1:13 & 4:30)

Biblical meditation means something completely difference, the exact opposite of how the world sees meditation: you fill yourself with the Holy Spirit. Christian meditation is actually very important to understand the Bible. Why? Because it doesn't help to know the whole Bible if you don't understand it. I personally do not read the Bible often enough, but I spend a lot of time on meditating about what could God say to me.

If it wasn't so important to understand the Bible, then God wouldn't have given us the Holy Spirit as we were saved.
